Andrii Sacheva: jazz violinist and composer inspired by funk, electro, alt rock and jazz, originally from Ukraine, now living in Katowice, Poland.

Over 20 musicians from Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Spain have participated in creating the genre-eluding EP Elusive Signs.

Andrii began work on the album a few years ago with the Kiev group French Connection Jazz Quartet; he completed the work in Katowice. He isn’t only the composer but also the producer, sound editor, and multi-instrumentalist: he plays the violin, drums, piano, synths, and ukulele. He also provides backing vocals.

There are five vocal compositions here, five different stories inspired by the City, its myths and legends, its architecture and street art.

One of these is sung by Dana Vynnytska, another Ukrainian-Polish artist, member of the eclectic group DagaDana.

Grammy winner Jacek Gawłowski provided the EPs' mastering.

Patronage of the project is held by Katowice Miasto Ogrodów.
