Way Home for the guitar duo Cuatro Manos is a return to the moment of the first fascination with jazz music. The band has played many concerts with the programs "Tales from the South" and "Będzie filmowo" where the repertoire consisted of original arrangements of jazz or film music standards. This time, the guitarists decided to reach for their own compositions and in their mood refer to their early inspirations, which paved the way for artistic development. The songs that make up the Way Home album are melodic and light, but also show the virtuosity of the guitarists. The sound of acoustic guitars is perfectly complemented by the rhythm section, thanks to which the compositions become multifaceted.

The recordings of Cuatro Manos Way Home were made possible thanks to the support from the artistic scholarship of the Mayor of Lublin in 2022.

Jacob Kotynia
From the beginning of his artistic activity, he tried to be not only a performer, but above all a creator. His restless spirit is expressed in more and more new artistic activities, where he unleashes his unbridled creativity. In addition to music, he also deals with filming. He is the initiator of the establishment of the jazz instrumental and vocal department at the Karol Szymanowski Primary and Secondary Music School. Tadeusz Szeligowski in Lublin and a lecturer at the Department of Jazz at the Institute of Music of the Faculty of Arts of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. The artist is a graduate of the Faculty of Composition, Education, Interpretation and Jazz at the Academy of Music in Katowice and the Secondary Music School in Lublin, and has participated and won prizes in jazz competitions, including:
·        the final of the Jazz Guitar Master Competition named after Marek Bliziński Guitar City 2008
·       participation in the Old Jazz Meeting Złota Tarka 2011
·       2nd place at the JAZZDA 2010 jazz competition and 3rd place at the European Music Integrations 2010 competition with the Double Decker band

Michał Lewartowicz  - guitarist, composer, educator, graduate of the Second Degree Music School. Tadeusz Szeligowski in Lublin in the double bass class, Policealne Studium Jazzu im. Henryk Majewski in Warsaw in the jazz guitar class and pedagogical studies with the specialty Animator and Culture Manager at UMCS. A graduate of Jazz and Stage Music at the Art Department of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin in the jazz guitar class. Guitar instructor, instructor of music bands and educator at the Music School. Tadeusz Szeligowski in Lublin. Participant and laureate of international music competitions and festivals. Scholarship holder of the Mayor of Lublin and the Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship in the field of culture. Leader of the band Michał Lewartowicz Quartet, guitarist of the Lublin Federation of Bards and Mariusz Bogdanowicz's project "Songs - with You"
