Paweł Palcowski Quintet - "Influences" is the leader's second original album, the compositions contained on the album are his authorship and are the subject of a doctoral dissertation entitled "Various faces of acoustic jazz in the context of 21st century music". The pieces are in the spirit of modern acoustic jazz with a clear influence of the music they come from (Bebop, Hardbop). The whole creates an original and stylistically diverse atmosphere.

Paweł Palcowski - trumpeter, composer, former lecturer at the Jazz Department of the Academy of Music in Katowice. Doctor of Musical Arts, graduate of 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree studies at the Academy of Music in Katowice.
He had the opportunity to work with musicians such as Ron Carter, Ed Cherry, Arek Skolik, Mike Moreno, Jamie Callum, as well as Maciej Sikała and Grzegorz Nagórski.
